This exciting adventure is a leisurely-paced trek in the beautiful Annapurnas and enjoy great mountain scenery with plenty of time to meet the locals. Our trek begins a short drive away from Pokhara at Nayapul. The walking is at a relaxed pace and we reach our lodge most of the time for lunch, leaving the afternoon free to relax or experience the local village life. After the trek we explore the lakeside around Pokhara. This journey showcases the stunning beauty and great Annapurnas of Nepal.


Day 01 - Arrive Kathmandu

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m) 

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our Green representative and driver will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your designated hotel. The representative will help you to check into your hotel. In the hotel please check the notice board for further program and you will be briefed about your trip by your trip Leader following with welcome dinner. 

Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley

Kathmandu valley is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The valley offers you a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence. In the morning, after breakfast, you will be guided to visit renowned and one of the largest Hindu temple of Pashupatinath and Bouddha Stupa. After lunch, you will be given free to explore yourself this fascinating City of Temples like Swoyambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square or Narayanhiti Museum.  

Day 03: Kathmandu – Pokhara (850m)

Early morning, after having breakfast you will be driven to Pokhara city, 200 km west from Kathmandu. It takes 5-6 hours on a tourist vehicle.  We will be passing through beautiful forests, deep gorges and Nepalese villages, following the white water river on our way to the City of Lakes, Pokhara. Our hotel is situated at Lakeside.  

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul – Ghandruk (1950m)

The day will mark the beginning of your trek. The trek will start from Nayapul, which is about an hour drive away from Pokhara in a private vehicle. Upon reaching Nayapul, you will be walking for tentatively 30 minutes along the bank of Modi Khola and reach Birethanti, a large village with many shops and teahouses.  The trail then continues through village of Syauli Bazaar, Kimche following the bank of the river on your right hand side and reach to Ghandruk village, village of Gurungs whose men folk are mostly in Gurkhas. 

Day 05: Ghandruk to Ghandruk Kot (2000m)

It is an easier walk today. Leaving the terraced hillsides and the village of Ghandruk behind, we traverse the hillside and head towards the Annapurna Sanctuary. Weather permitting there are great mountain views all day. After a short climb to the saddle that leads to Kymrong, we ascend for a short distance through rhododendron forest to reach our lodge that stands alone on an isolated hilltop. The location is magnificent - to the north, Annapurna South and Machhapuchhare seem as if they are almost within touching distance. To the south there are spectacular views of the terraced hillsides and pretty villages. We arrive for lunch and in the afternoon visit the nearby village.

Day 06: Ghandruk kot to Syauli ( 1250m)

We rise in the morning and take breakfast in full view of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhare before making a leisurely walk down to the Modi Khola River. There is a fair bit of downhill to reach the bottom of the valley, so the pace today is decidedly relaxed. We explore the villages, meet with the local people and make sure we have plenty of photo stops to capture the beautiful scenery of this exciting day's walk.

Day 07: Syauli to Nayapul & drive to Pokhara (850m) 

The day marks the end of the trek. There will be plenty of time to capture this majestic views of the mountains before we trek towards Nayapul to catch the vehicle to go back to Pokhara. While moving forward to Nayapul from Syauli, you will see be walking through beautiful terraced hillside, and can be seen Himalayas, rivers etc.

Day 08: Fly to Kathmandu (1350m)

After breakfast, you will be driven to the Pokhara airport and we will fly back to Kathmandu. The entire day in the capital is free for some shopping and relaxation. It’s a last day of our whole trip so at the end your Leader will organize last group dinner before you leave. 

Day 09: Depart Kathmandu (1350m)

After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take you to the international airport for your flight home.  Or if you want to continue your stay in Nepal we will assist you to organize things during your stay.
